Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BuildCircle ("we", "us", "our") is a platform for builders to find communities, form pods, and collaborate. Our waitlist is operated at buildcircle.in. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@buildcircle.in.

2. What we collect

When you join our waitlist we collect: • Your email address (to notify you at launch and send updates) • Any content you voluntarily submit — community names, pod names, post text, and images • Basic usage data — pages visited, referrer, browser type (via standard server logs) We do not collect passwords during the waitlist phase. We do not collect payment card details — all payments are processed by Razorpay and subject to their privacy policy.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to: • Send you a welcome email and launch notification via Resend • Store your waitlist submissions so they appear in the app on launch day • Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the EU/US region). Emails are sent via Resend. Payments are processed by Razorpay (subject to RBI data localisation rules). All providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

5. Your rights

You may at any time: • Request a copy of your data • Request deletion of your account and data • Unsubscribe from emails using the unsubscribe link in any email To exercise these rights email privacy@buildcircle.in. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (session management). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children

BuildCircle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
